I loved the way you segued your way into Climate Change and how Climate Change would thwart the proper balance of Mother Nature herself. I see Climate Change as a Villain putting forth a brutal challenge to Autumn and Spring, however, I do not see any true scientific proof to the changes in our planet. I do see Autumn and Spring gratefully taking on the challenge and bursting through with breathless wonder in their own time.
I loved your story and look forward to more challenges fro the Villain.
I did, however, critique my poem, “O Autumn” and this is the result:
O Autumn
How you cause my step to pause;
To cease my bee-like meanderings;
That I should gaze upon the beauty
Laid out for my pleasure.
A kaleidoscope of radiance
Awaits me at every turn.
Burnished reds, russets and fiery golds
Embrace the trees, gardens and walkways.
Frozen in the moment, my pace slows,
As I witness nature’s quiet formation . . .
A magnificent canvas.
To which, in utter splendor I proclaim,
“Bravo — Well Done.”
